The DC Architectural Alliance is a consortium of six Architects and Architecture/Engineering Firms that are strategically located throughout the United States to provide a "one-stop" shop for any Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge franchise architectural design needs. The experience, talent and commitment of the DC Architectural Alliance will ensure that the critical concepts and intent of the Millennium Branded Facility Design guide are efficiently implemented during the design and construction Phases. Our business is Architecture; we know how dealerships work. DCAA will collaborate with dealer principals to provide functionally efficient design solutions to the facility needs of people whose business it is to sell cars.

The DCAA member firms have:

• Many years of auto dealership experience. Together DCAA firms have completed more than 45 new and or renovated Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge facilities. There is no substitute for experience in design and construction.

• Professional licensed architects under the leadership of seasoned project managers. Successful projects don't simply happen. They are the result of the hard work by a multi-disciplined team of architects and engineers under the leadership of a strong project manager.

• Unified commitment to quality of design and client satisfaction. Chrysler's vision is reflected in the design of their cars and in the goals for the Millennium Branded Facilities. Each of the DCAA firms have been founded on the principles of quality in design.

• The ability to share staff. This flexibility allows DCAA to apply the proper amount of expertise to solve challenges in design and schedule.

• Team members that are licensed professionals and have completed projects in virtually every state. We therefore have a regional familiarity with building codes, construction practices and the impact of climatic conditions.

• Consistency in response time and commitment to performance. Chrysler's cars are known for their beauty and performance. DCAA will complete projects within the agreed upon time frame.

• Experienced mechanical, electrical and structural engineers available to collaborate on the design from the earliest possible phases.

Design Services

• Develop initial program of facility needs in conjunction with the regional business center and the dealer

• Assist in site selection and determining zoning and planning requirements

• Develop schematic level floor plans, site plans and building elevations

• Develop mechanical, electrical and structural concepts

• Establish preliminary cost estimate for proposed facility

• Develop design development documents

• Develop construction documents including working drawings and specifications

• Assist in evaluating contractors and obtaining competitive bid prices

• Assist in evaluation contractor proposals

• Perform construction administration services

Program Management Services

• Develop initial program of facility needs in conjunction with the regional business center and the dealer

• Assist in site selection and determining zoning and planning requirements

• Develop schematic level floor plans, site plans and building elevations

• Develop mechanical, electrical and structural concepts

• Establish preliminary cost estimate for proposed facility

• Review established preliminary cost estimate and design and construction schedule

• Monitor development of design through construction documents

• Monitor construction by visiting the site to determine if the project is being constructed in conformance with the design intent and guidelines
